CalPhone - Organizer for iPhone App Reviews

I have CalPad for iPad and now CalPhone for iPhone with great features. They are the best suite that I had been waiting for a long time. Love to see my tasks, events and notes in the same app. Love the scheduler to put tasks in to the free time....Thanks guys!

I have CalPad and was pleasantly surprised by the number of features the developer was able to put into 1 app. When I saw on his website he was creating an iPhone version, I was apprehensive because I didnt see how he could fit it all into the iPhone screen effectively with all the features intact. After using it for a full day, I can tell he put thought and effort into getting this adaptation of CalPad just right. You can time tasks and have the daily totals exported to a spreadsheet. You can either type or handwrite notes. You can backup your entire database and transfer it to CalPad at anytime to switch devices. I was amazed at how solid and usable the app is. And now that it is on the iPhone, I can take it anywhere and have access to it. My only suggestion is to see if you can get a week view when you turn it sideways. But this is an awesome first effort and Im looking forward to the additions to the app in future updates. Keep it up!

Awesome! CalPhone has almost great features of CalPad. All views are fit into small screen of iPhone right way! Well thought! Great work!

Its powerful organizer! Tons of useful features behind intuitive interface. An organizer you will need to have!

This app delivers exactly what they claim with no jive. Its fast and flexible. Its easy to understand. It syncs with toodledo. That was key for me.

The latest update screwed it up. Everytime i open it now it force closes and deletes all the information i spent hours putting in. Either fix it or give me my 7.99 back.

My schedules were deleted twice after latest updating. Im not sure i have to use it from now on!

Asthetheticaly and Functional as Calphone is I have not been able to get the app to sync threw google; I also have the same issues with Calpad as well. Initialy I had great response time when I contacted the vendor but that has fallen by the waist side as well. I purchased this app thinking it would do as claimed but because it dosent I can only give it 1 star. If this is operator error then my bad................... bspalding

Had initial problems synching tasks with iPad. Posted on calpad re issues there. Dev responded promptly. Still cant sync with toodledoo but google tasks now works which is what I need. Notes dont sync. Dev says Cloud sync early in May Price is too high tho for this and ipad version and should be a universal app. Calengoo still is the best at synching with google cal and tasks and a much better value for now but this app is getting better especially on the iPad.

I originally gave this 5 stars. It was my favorite organizer, but sync and other issues still have not been resolved. Another issue is that of checked-off tasks instantly appearing as both checked-off and not checked on the same page. In its present state it is unreliable. I hope these issues will be resolved allowing this normally 5 star app to return to being the best organizer available. Ill relegate this to the "Wait and see" pile until these issues are resolved. So much potential -- but too many problems.

I set an alert sound but when it fires it is the default tri tone and not the one chosen there also needs to be a badge option for the calendar!

The functions of this app are amazing. Color coded calendars are my favorite. But each time I open the app to check my calendar, various events have been dropped and random points added. Fix these bugs and Id give 5 stars.

For some reason, some calendars are being deleted while others are being duplicated. Not too shibby.

I lost everything!!!!

At first I loved both this calendar, and the iPad version do much, I bought the paid version on both so id be able to sync them both. Everything was great, until I decided to have it sync with my phones default calendar. The app kept crashing, duplicating and deleting my events, and the worst part.. deleted calendars and events on my normal calendar app that had my life in it. I paid SEPARATE unreasonable prices for two apps that screwed me over. Now all I want is my money back! Or for the developers to get rid of all these problems. If youre going to charge customers a high price, they should be paying for a reliable, amazing app. But that isnt what I paid for.

This could be such a cool app! But it keeps shutting down on me and the phone to iPad sync isnt very smooth. Also, wish it could sync with more than one google calendar. But, the layout and colors are great! Its also a super layout, just needs a little more stability.

This application is very useful. I have a good time with it. It also runs very smooth.

I am generally pleased with this app as it is the only one I know of that addresses tasks that move with time. Left Coast Logic has launched, and abandoned, several apps that tried to do the same... My only concern with this app is the frequent crashes.... Rarely does a day go by that I dont get the message that the app has crashed since it was last synced...:(. my data has not been lost....so far
